Hey guy, I found some great deals at at Target.com. I am new here, so don't go crazy on me if my information is old, or not complete enough.

Panasonic Palmcorder PV-L550 for $199, plus I found a $50 rebate --- I have found this all over the place for $300-$450. It has good reviews at epinions, though only 2 opinions have been written.

V-Tech Cordless phone VT1962 $44.94, this has a $30 Rebate -- Great phone for the price. Caller ID and Answering machine

Lots of other stuff hot in electronics!! Panasonic VCR for $44.94, other stuff about 50% off. Go check it out.

P.S. Don't be mad at me if I missed something. Both the rebates can be found at rebateplace, and the manufactures web sites. I don't know how to make a link, so you can go find them.

The V-Tech Cordless phone VT1962 $44.94. Is that price after rebate or before?

Thanks

There appears to be a problem with their site---for some reason, when I try to buy something, I keep getting into someone else's shopping cart.....

Great deal for analog camcorders although digital camcorders are the ones to get.

Still, you cannot beat the price. I paid $1,000 for my Sony 8mm camcorder 10 years ago, and these Panasonic camcorders got a lot more features and way cooler. Too bad, I don't use camcorders. I have used mine about 5 times in the last 10 years.

Hi Siamsunk,

I believe your link point to someone account, I don't know if it's your or someone else (I wanna believe it's someone else, since you're senior) but it sure is not mine :)
anyway, I almost tempted to have 'em send me 4 camera and 1 Funai using somebody else card :D
but I'm not...;)
edit your link or someone else might be tempted ;)

I have the V-tech phone. I bought it from Office Depot for $55 (-15 coupon -30 rebate).

It's decent, but it's far from Panasonic.

The base ring is totally disgusting! Why V-tech people can't make it sound nice? How hard is that?

There is a mention of 10% for Target card users who shop online? Can anyone confirm this? I might just have to pick up a palmcorder for 129.99 !!!!! Sounds hot to me? Some things wrong when this is cheaper than my palm M100????

Hey...that's not mine. That's kinda funny since I've just cleaned up my cookies last week. Besides, the last time I visited Target.com was like....a couple months ago.

BTW, how did that happen? and who the H_ll is Mr. Hao? scratching my head real hard now.

Damn I tried dealsearch.net and all the 10% codes seem to be dead!!!!!! It's kinda funny though... When you first enter some of them they ARE ACCEPTED in bold red letters. But when you actually get to the final purchase screen they are expired or invalid...

When I follow gcy's Link to the camcorder using Netscape, the price shows up as $299. If I go with Internet Explorer, the price is $199.94. People, check with both browsers before making a purchase.

If anyone wants to get the Panasonic VCR, I would recommend checking out CompUSA for the closeout sale on the JVC HiFi 4-Head VCR. Similar pricing, but a better VCR (IMHO). ;)

I just checked the link on the Palmcorder with both IE and Netscape and they both show $299. Deal dead?

EDIT: If you add the item to your cart it shows up at $199. Weird.

Okay, I have been calling around to my local Target stores to see if you can the anything is available at the same price through them. Prices are the same, but everything is hard to find. About 50% of the stores have the phone in stock, 25% have the VCR (at least one of the 2), and no one has the camcorders. One guy did tell me that this was the latest price at the B&M though. He said that there is also a Sony Handycam for $149, and a few other camcorders at higher prices (Sony, Panasonic, and Sharp), though he had none in stock. At one point I drove down to East L.A. (my little white self and my 2 month old baby, not the smartest idea) because they claimed to have the 550, liars!! Anyways, if you are willing to make some calls, you may be able to avoid shipping costs, or find a camera that better suits your needs. Good luck. I am glad you all like my deals!!
