can anyone find out how much they charge for shipping? this is definitely a hot deal if shipping isn't too high.

I too didn't get a shipping price but I ordered 2 on a web certificate. If shipping is more than $10 the charge won't go through and no loss here. It looks like the cards run about $40-$70 elseware!

I just ordered one through their online checkout. I received a receipt by email with a $6.00 total but it also says "Shipping charges may be added to your order". I will probably call them in the morning to find out how much the shipping will cost.

If you click on the picture at the firesale.com website -- the picture is named 404. It seems to me this would be the 404 Model then.

From the hauppage.com website:

Model 404 -- WinTV with mono audio and remote control

Although in the firesale.com description there is no mention of a remote control.

Well, I used my CC. They are an authorized CNet retailer so I have some recourse if they pull a fast one.

What I'm curious of is if it's legal for them to add shipping charges later? I have a receipt that says "Total $6.00". But then it says "shipping charges may be added later". Can they do that?

Something about this seems unkosher.

This really seems like a typo to me. $60.00 sounds more appropriate. I wonder if they'll just end up cancelling all of them . . .or even charging $60 to our credit cards!!! Webcertificate sounds nice right about now.

Well, I'm in for one. If they try to charge mee too much for shipping, I'll just reverse the charges.

It says the condition is New/Open Box

They should not charge full price ($50 maybe?) for Open Box stuff even if it's never used (how do we know?).

I ordered earlier this morning. Hopefully it will pan out for the better. Worst case, the orders are cancelled.
