I just went to Best Buy store in Houston, Texas, the store on Southwest side of town by Hwy 59. The store had 11 more copies as of this afternoon at 6:00 pm.

I have the receipt in my hand and the DVD in my DVD player, enjoy.

that was the second movie i bought, but got here first. stigmata was the first dvd movie i ordered through buy.com when 15 off 15, 20 off 20 coupons were ample, oooh the good ole days. shawshank redemption popped my sony (dvp-c650) dvd player's cherry.

Great movie and for those who havn't watched it and do not own it, this makes an excellent addition to anyone's collection.

Its not that great of a movie...

Sure it is about a prison, but IMHO it adds very little groundshattering meaning to my world.

I don't see how it is #2 or somewhere high like that on the imdb.com
Maybe you people would like to explain to me whats so great about what seems to be a standard "good prisioner, bad prisioner" film...

how about Time out w/ Britney spears or Attack of the 50 feet women... QUALITY movies right there. I laughed when I saw these 2 on the DVD rack at Blockbuster. Heh, the sad part is that I actually watched AOT50FW (being lazy w/ typing ) once

you have to watch junk like TOW/BS and AOTFF once in a while. it makes you appreciate qulity films such as TSR a whole lot more

I agree this is one of the best movies of all time. Now if uncouth wants to know why this was such a great movie let me start with a few details. Excellent cinematics and camera work, a brilliant story twist, an awesome intellectual narrator, a great story, ability to feel the characters emotions through simple story work, you got to know each one almost personally. I don't know about the rest of you, but even if you don't get sad at movies, there were times in this film where you felt it, and I won't ruin anything for those who haven't seen it yet, but you guys who've seen it know what I mean.

Tell us some better movies than this one, and tell us why in a similar fashion that I've done here and why your movie is better Now I'm not saying this is the end all be all of movies, but it's certainly in my top 10 and I own the DVD as well. Have for quite some time.
