I almost replied...until I saw that the email was sent from an aol email address, GapPromo1@aol.com. Hmmm, makes me wonder why something like this would use AOL instead of something like xxx@gap.com. I don't know if I should give them my address or not. I don't remember ever signing up for a gap pants promo, but then, it could have been a long time ago. Something smells fishy here though. I need input for you guys.

Trust your gut instinct, I went to The Gap's site and obviously this has happened in the past as customer service has a dedicated link to reporting bogus online promotions. This is the direct link to report the fraud.
