Damn guys, OD fixed the price on their page... its now listed as $79.99... It was only a matter of time before one of the employees said something to their managers who called corporate and got the price changed.... I have a print out from yesterday where it shows $19.99... gonna go in today and see if I can pull it off

Back from the dead: Looks like this was an error, however, the original price was 29.88 which is usually a clearance price. I went into a store yesterday and they had 2 FENSK05's on the shelf w/ no price--So, I thought I was about to score big. Brought 'em up front and had the cashier check price, $79.99. Bummer. :frown:

The real oddity is that office max ALSO had this for cheap ($19.88 or something like that). So, not sure why they (OD) would raise the price on the remaining units... anyone (insiders) know? I plan to check back on occasion to see if the price drops again or if they end up on clearance shelf (but I'll probably miss it by a day or two).

It was $19 at OM. They might be out of last years models now, so maybe that might be why the price is back up. Does the box look any dfferent. Should have Sygate sticker on it. But OD's had that in the one on sale. OM had Lanbridge in it. Rebates over now anyway.

Anybody get their rebate $ back yet?

Just to clarify... this was NOT "normally $199." That's the list price, and there's no way anyone is/was selling this for $200.

I bought the SWITCHED version (better, not this one) from Amazon.com earlier in the year for $69.99.

The version I saw now marked at $79.99 was the same one I purchased previously for $29.88, it's marked FENSK05 in the old style box with the Descent 3 sticker on the box. (None of the office depot's around here had the ones with the sygate sticker).

The new versions of the kits from Linksys have white and black borders and different model #'s. I'm am 100% postiive This is definitely the one that was clearanced out previously. I don't think there is a $15 rebate anymore (but haven't checked). It's a cold deal at $79.99 w/ or w/o rebate.
