Hot deal on a cruncher (Celery 2.6 + mobo for $60)

Hello all,

I found a pretty good deal on a Soyo board with integrated everything and a Celeron 2.6Ghz CPU. It's at Tiger Direct, here. With shipping it should be about $60 after rebate. One of the rebates is direct from Tiger (risky, from what I hear), but I decided to take the chance. Seems like a good deal!

The celerys suck at seti. Don't know about the other projects but we have a RA team mate with a 2gig celery and it takes around 8 hours per wu

Celeron isn't much good at anything. PERIOD.

I am aware of the Celery's lack of crunching ability, but I still think this is a pretty darn good deal. If nothing else, sell the stuff in FS/FT and make some money towards another cruncher😀

be wary, tigerdirect is pretty shady and has a horrible track record in the hot deals forum.
