Thankyou pancho6 19.Im kinda new here and I want to try and do something here besides just getting good deal info and leaveing.I check several sites constanly unless Im playing quake3 or this new game I got last week bundled with xgamer 5.1 sound card called MDK2.Man the graghics and 3d in the game is really awesome with my new CL Annihilator 2 GF2 GTS.Im in the market for a RW burner in the HP 9000 seris range but not over 210.Ill be putting another Burner deal up or mabe two ,while I have all the results from searching most of today right in front of me,so look for few more of the lowest I found in my seach today.

Thanks for pointing that out wjones cause my search mainly consits of checking the price againts pricewatch mabe before a search and a second time before I push that submit button,and realy only use where coupon says its at and mabe a couple more places......and now you. cough,cough

Mabe somebody can save themselves some serious money.If anyone would take my retailed 6202A Acer burner and the Pioneer 113 DVD that I run together like right now today then I could post some realy hot prices I uncovered and I would feel better about what to get me .I know what I want but I might have to take a step down to stay in my bugget plans(which could change in a heartbeat) cause I need to get a few other pricey things one way or the other too,so knowing my Acer burner and DVD where gone it would help immensly in me getting what I want and posting the deals I found on Plextor,Iomega,HP and few others today with coupons............dang what a sales pitch.....BATTER UP!

Comparing any drive other than a Yamaha to a Plextor is waste of time IMO. The Iomega drives are just like any of the average consumer drives like Sony, HP, TDK. But I do agree this is an amazing deal!

That coupon is updated on their web site and the start date is today and runs until Dec 31 so I wouldnt be worried.They (Iomega) just went into some kind of partnership of sells with Radio Shack along with some others too.

Ok wake up or if you did what I did then you havent been to sleep yet but I did make a promise to pass on some things that might be of interest.

I just got off the phone with CS buy.com and was in formed that the free shipping wasnt available with the 30 off 150 bahhhh anyway after I explained it to him about 12 times that the coupon(at the usual place)cough,says free shipping plus an extra coupon,duh and where he could see it he removed the dang shipping.That was on the Plextor 12x10x32,$229.95 I splurged but I also have a PM to be added for $11.00 to get added total $218.00.

Now Staples Plextor 8x4x32 $228.49-40=$186.49 PM buy.com's price of $148.95+ free shipping is $77.54 difference =$108.95+ 13.06 tax comes to $122.01.The final total came to $127.28 because a 30 dollar off had to be used because of the match $148.95`

On the Staples honered my PM with buy.com's price on the Plextor 8x4x32 for 148.95-30 off 100= 118.95 + 8.33 tax= $127.28 + free shipping.

Me being new to all this was told by CS at buy.com that I can use the same coupons over on any item as long as the checkout went through,man that info would have saved me about 2 hours of looking around.

Staples CS just emailed me and said they couldnt find the PM that I filled out earlier this mourning nowhere on the web including their site so I emailed them right back and asked if they could please send me a reference number cause I wasnt sure what they were talking about.They emailed me right back and said they would research the matter and let me know something.I called CS then and found out someone was reworking my order which has been finshed with a mail out to receive date for next monday,which was already confirmed over two hours ago.

Well I must be doing something wrong to have my first post ever to be locked.I guess this isnt the place to rant alittle about bad business procegers.Oh well I was told by ST that they would call me back in about 15 minutes and get the situation worked out but that they couldnt stop the order cause it was sent to the warehouse for shipping next Monday the 30th.I was told to refuse the order when it gets here and they will refund my card.Seems like a waste of money and time to me.My PM has caused them a loss of over 80 dollars already.I wait and see.

Modes can you help understand why a sower deal is cause for a thread lock?I have over 1000 post at HWC and never even had a warning,so on top of a bad day with a HOT DEAL was it nessesary to lock my post too?

I really dont know which is the best but the Plextor I bought 12x10x32a has some pretty good reveiws.My Acer isnt very fast but it makes flawless audio cd and even digitaly enhances them to where they sound better the what they are copying.Also the HP's are going through a major change and the older models which are supose to be replaced are some really good burners,so we should be able to get some killer deals in the near future.
