card for $23.95, new in box. This means it should come
with the raid card and TWO 80 pin IDE cables. The cables
themselves are worth $10-15.
At this price, this is a better deal than modding your
own Fasttrak66!
Anyone know if the Iwill raid card is any good. The reviews
I could find on the Web seemed to be pleased, but my
question is whether the Iwill card avoids the major
problems with the Promise Fasttrak66, namely poor
compatibility with Maxtor drives and very problematic
installation under Windows 2000.
Anyone with experience care to comment on those last two
questions?
