i was wanting to make a post about a corker of a deal i found on Ebay until i read the FAQ saying that im not allowed to make posts about Auction sites because they arent considered hot deals-why is this?

i feel that this is perhaps unfair because i found an item, well mainly a GF4 Ti4600 for half - HALF i say- the price of any ti4600 and cheaper than any ti4200 here in the UK!

most of the hotdeals are US based and therefore people in the UK for example cant take advantage of this so im just wonderin why it is deemed unsuitable to post auction site details?

Ebay is not allowed because people would constantly spam their items for sale there. Plus, IMO buying anything on ebay is a risk, and I advise people to avoid it, the prices are not that good and support is a crap shoot.

There is also the "small" matter that the price on the auction will inevitably go up. What is a "sweet price" now can be driven up to an ICE COLD deal in a hurry. Best to leave them out.
