Too bad there are no Frys in NYC. I occassionally get struck with the notion that I should put an SSD in my laptop (or my desktop). Unfortunately, I also need the space on my laptop, so even a 256GB SSD might not be enough.

Would it be illegal to ship this to Iran? It has some AES 256-bit encryption so I'm pretty sure you can't get it shipped there.

Shipping to Iran very easy. you can ship it to my address in UAE and from it to Iran. and that is not illegal.

I called the Palo Alto store and the guy who answered the phone checked the other area stores..

Good point. Didn't call because I figured this is one of those no-no when a great deal is going on, e.g. they would try to hoard some for themselves.
