This is my first deal post so pardon the format

Best Buy has a 17 inch MAG monitor for $100 after a $80 MIR. The original price is $179.99.

There are two MIR which come with the monitor. One is for $50 and the other is for $30. Please note that the you must purchase the monitor before April 7 to get the full $80 MIR.

This is a very nice monitor! So if you need a monitor, get one of these!

MAG makes pretty good monitor,, and only if it is the FD Triniton one...

anyhow, the site only showed a 30 buck rebate, must I get the $50 one from the Actual Store (B&M)?

Sometime back in December I bought this monitor for $150 with a $50 rebate. But I still havn't received the rebate yet. So if you actually buys this monitor you might not get the rebate. Just a warning.

I love MAG monitors. I have one sitting here next to my G400 and the quality is very close. I've always thought these were the most underrated monitors out there.

is the MAGVIEW the MAG you are talking about? Why I saw MAG and MAGVIEW in different cases? I am new here so pls help me! Thanks!

I know it's Magview not Mag but I have to put my $0.02 in on this.

I bought a Mag 15" .25 a few years back and I will never buy another Mag product. It's not just that it died on me. It's that the two replacements Mag sent me both died as well before the origianl warranty expired.

The first one became fuzzy in the center of the screen to the point it would give you a headache to look at it for more than 5 minutes. With the second one (warranty replacement) the trapezoid setting went out. You would here a snap after the monitor was on for about 10 minutes and the entire picture would go about 20 degrees out of square. The third one (second warranty replacement) couldn't be adjusted to square. There was something wrong with the pincussion/trapezoid controls.

Even though it was still under warranty I gave the last Mag away. I think it is a boat anchor now. I purchased a Viewsonic E773 and have had no problems with it and couldn't be happier with the picture.
