Yeah - Staples has a $20. rebate.
I think it's only for this week only though!

Awesome deal! :)

Rebate expires on 11/18/00 (this Saturday, apparently.) Ah well, just placed the order, won't get the package till monday, though. But i should qualify for the rebate. It's just a matter of -getting- the rebate....It's been so long since I put in a rebate request for some altec lansing speakers at staples, and for 2 logitech optical mice at office depot that I don't know whether i'll get them or not.

I bought this @ BB on Sunday. They work so much better than the Kingston CD-Rs from Outpost. My Protable CD-Player can now play music without skipping!!!!

I have the TDK Ritek's from Buy.com and they seem to be working out very well. I have some blanks from CMC Magnetics that are OK, had a few problems but I'm rough on CD's anyway. The worst and I dont wish these on my enemy are the Prodisc\phthalocyanine I got these from Compusa bulk 100 pack. You can just about blow on them and the reflective layer will come off. I use these as 1 week music cds or as samplers because I know they wont last long.

The CompUSA's I got were from about a year ago, maybe they've change manufacturers by now. I can send one to someone if they dont believe me, although I'm not sure you'd be able to burn on them after the trip.

I am on my way out to Best Buy to try the 20% off mailer coupon with this 100 pack Imations, that would bring them down to about $12.50 + tax. Another thought on Price Mattch with Staples; order two of the spindles at $38 - $25 (Staples $25 off $75) - $20 Staples Imation rebate (limit 1) + free shipping (over $50) + tax. Comes down to about $31 + tax for 200 CDRs. Just another way to go.
