I have a linksys router (4 port switch and AP) and I just download the new firmware. It is great. I also setup a static IP address on this comp. I had been having some stability issues with the router (it would reset every 10 minutes) << i am not kidding. And whenver I tried to connect to it, it would reset. Well I downloaded the firmware and it has been good to me so far. I also set up a static IP address on this comp. DAMN! It goes so much faster. I think that its because DNS requests go dirrectly to my cable provider's DNS server as opposed to going through the router, but whatever, I'm impressed.
