Don't know how hot you'd consider it, but I like the looks 😉 Here is the link. I figure it's a good deal. Both items come with free Fed-Ex Shipping Saver. Also, the link for the shirt is below where it says "Save $10" When buying this with a shirt, and the shirts are only $10 a piece 🙂

keep the prices falling, I would personally hold out another week or two and wait for prices to bottom out
 
Yeah, prices may fall bigtime in the next couple of weeks! I am thinking about waiting, but this free Newegg t-shirt is tempting!
 
They should be falling at least through Chinese New Year (for another week). Crucial seems to be lagging on prices as of late though, or just not dropping their website prices when chip prices drop.
 
Alot of of people are turning to 2700 and 3200 these days so the demad for 2100 is slowing falling , I guess by mid summer you should be able to get this for close to $40 perhaps less.

sooner than the summer, ddr prices are going to be falling soon...something about oversupply in china and bad economy overthere, i dunno, read it somewhere.
 
DDR prices are already falling, I have been watching pricewatch everyday for pc3200 ddr. The corsair ram has fallen 5 bucks this week alone!

At $5 per week, a stick of 256MB PC3200 Corsair, will be $50 by the first week of March 🙂

Lets all keep our fingers crossed.

fingers crossed for you zimtek....you lucky sob, back when i got my pc2700...over $150. lol, thats what happens with computer stuff. i ran around to 3 different best buys yesterday to get the logitech z560s(i cant even get them to work) just so i could get them $50 off, but if i waited couple months, they would be $100 normally.
 
i still hold a receipt from crucial dated October/2000 that has PC2100 256mb for $28.29 ..

*sigh*.. good old days 🙂

hehe, i think i got two sticks when Crucial was selling it for $25.00 (lowest price ever on Crucial)

Those were the days. I got in on 256mb around that time. I remember a week later my friend needed some and the price went up $10.00. 😀

For the time being this a fairly good deal for good ram conisdering generic runs about the same price.
 
I'm using 2 sticks of 256 pc2100 crucial I got for like 60 shipped a year an a half ago about.

You guys need to come to the CPL, I got a free newegg t-shirt there, as well as a couple of those christmas tree glass things they had. I also got my picture taken wearing the shirt, and I think they said it was going to be on their website (I didn't check). I also got 4 of those Newegg case badge and the guy took a picture of them on my case, heh.

I also got a free Nvidia FX t-shirt there as well, and a 50-pack of PNY cd-r's (At the NVidea/PNY booth, where they had Dawn playing and such). wooo. nerd.
 
This deal isn't hot. The price at crucial is $53 which might be lowered if some coupon deal were available. Does newegg have moles here at Anandtech that post these tepid deals?
