there is a newer model - the ESBA
The EMBA is current non modular version
ESBA is MODULAR.
The new esba has different really humungous rails (2 - 12V 28A PCIe rails), tons of cables

Even in the esba review they mis-called it as an emba, and gave wrong vendor links
like here:

The coolermaster emba won the xbit 1000W PSU shootout

and its QUIET

However I really want the esba for my new P35 system, but I cant find it anywhere as of yet.
I called Coolermaster but no one answers - duh

Maybe they are clearing out old model?

Does anyone need this much power?

Even a Quad Core SLI system just hits around 700w if I remember correctly.

Constantly being above 50% load on a PSU is a quick way to lose that PSU hence why if load regularly goes above 500, getting a 1000W PSU can be a good idea to make sure it doesn't suffer premature failure.

Forget about wattage for a second and read some of the reviews. The voltage regulation and ripple are both fantastic, it's one of the most efficient PSUs available, and it's QUIET. The ability to power any system I'll be able to put together is just a bonus @ $189. I paid $250 for my leaf blower PCP&C 'Silencer' 750W.
