Staples has this machine for 619 - 170 staples rebate - 50 compaq rebate. With the PM it comes out to 499- 170- 50= 280!! They are also giving the Compaq Persario 5000US (750 duron with 30 meg hard) for the same price but won't price match it with this (already tried at lots of stores). Anyway this offer ends today so run to your Staples store now with the PM. You can also add the Monitor and Printer to sweeten the deal. Staples has the printer but not the Monitor.

How this Mods? Any wings yet??

Best Buy no longer has it for checkout which means they are out of stock. Unless your Staples is lenient, this means that they won't pricematch. It does say however that you can pick it up but again, depends how your staples manager looks at it.

The price match won't work because Best Buy has been out of stock on this PC for a week. You missed the prominent notice that reads:

"Sorry, no longer taking orders for this item"

Rest assured, your friendly Staples CSR will see it.

I work at BB, and I know we haven't carried that model for 2 wks now. This won't work in Dayton.
