Yeah. I have some Belkin USB 802.11b NICs. They have the worst reception of anything I own (D-Link, Siemens, Orinoco). They work fine if you are only like a room away from the access point, though. It seems like there are several deals going for new WAPs and/or wireless routers for around this price (e.g., D-Link - TigerDirect, Compaq - Radio Shack, Netgear - Computers4Sure, SMC - MicroCenter, Microsoft - Staples). Personally I would go for one of the other brands.

Not trying to thread crap -- just want people to be educated about what they are buying. If your other computers will be in close proximity to the Belkin WAP, I am sure it would be fine for you as well.
