<removed codes since its against the rules to post them, but you can find them at naughtycodes.com>

Amazon price: $39.99. One of the codes above will give you $5 off, and you get free shipping. Total of $34.99 shipped.

UPDATED TO REFLECT THE NEWER PRICE.

can't post coupon codes....

but at anyrate, $39 is still a bit steep in my book... going to wait for $19.99 from gogamer or some b&m sale..... 🙂

in the meantime... i'll just play the demo....

You are new to the forums, so listen up: It is against the rules to post or link directly to coupon codes, unless they are publicly posted on the retailer's site. You can say something like "use the 5$ off coupon code found @ naughtycode.com", but that is as far as you can go. Mods, please don't lock, its an okay deal, just edit out coupon codes.

there's threads in OT for this. You just gotta kill all the guy in the area, sit next to the flag till it turns gray, then keep sitting till it changes to your teams flag.

Me too, on the cheaper price at a B&M, it'll happen this Sunday or next when the ads roll out at BB or CC

I just got ahold of the Sunday ads thru the local Saturday special edition newspaper.
Circuit City doesn't offer BF1942 on sale this Sunday. CompUSA has battlefield on sale for $39.99
after a $10 instant rebate. BestBuy also has it for $39.99 this Sunday.

if you have one of those BestBuy 5.00 off coupons found in the gaming magazines
then that makes BestBuy this weekend's bargain at $35 plus tax.

this game is awesome, highly recommended if you
love running around running people over or shooting them down
with all kinds of machines.

Saw it at Walmart today for $39.9x but will wait for a good deal. Don't have that much time to play anyways.

Just letting you know at gamestop.com you can order it for $44.95 and there is a 10% off coupon floating around on another thread in this group which brings it to $40 and they are giving free shipping too...

KenKaniff,

Have you explicitly read something that indicates that your GF4MX will not run this game, because I think that you are mistaken. It should be adequate for this game.

E.

The Readme file as I recall mentions the game will run on cards with T&L lighting.
Also be sure to get the version 1.1 retail patch available on www.battlefield1942.com.
I picked the game up yesterday. i had a blast today with the axis SP (self-propelled)
gun at Tobruk. Great game. Haven't run across any major bugs. The patch helped with
connecting to servers for me. My video card is Geforce 3 Ti200.🙂

I have 56k, 1.4ghz t-bird, and geforce 2 pro, think I can run it? 🙂

Anyways, PCGamer has 15% off any PC Game $19.99 and up in Octobers mag, and a 20% off the same in September's (Both still good).

$39.99 with 15% off is $33.99
$39.99 with 20% off is $31.99

Then taxes...

Either way, not too bad for the instant gratification of that new game smell 🙂

Battlefield 1942 review at gamespot

My system specs listed below.
Runs perfectly acceptable with my mid-range machine.
Load times for maps are alittle slow...the only minor downside
performance wise.....takes about a minute for each map to load.

1 Ghz Pentium III
Geforce 3 200i video card.
soundblaster PCI card.
Cable connection
40x DVD drive
40 gigabyte 7200rpm drive.
Edit: And 256 megs of Ram

ok it just dropped to $39.99 12:15am california time. ..was gonna get two at either compusa or bb...but from amazon with free shipping and no tax plus

anyway I placed two separate orders so I could use the $5 off $35 coupons (two of them).
So $39.99 + free shipping - $5 coupon = $34.99 each one. Maybe circuit city will have 'em for $29.99 (who knows) but I still gotta pay tax....so this is about as cheap as your gonna get.
