COME TO CHINATOWN NYC FOR FREE MOTOROLA V60T with ATT Wireless Activiation... but let me tell you this, it is not the same phone as V60C, The ATT V60T is a TDMA phone. TDMA is inherently flawed. ATT signs up new people every day, meanwhile TDMA's bandwith is limited. you get the picture, dropped calls, incoming calls going straight to voice mail. and to worsen things, ATT have nights starting at 8pm, and tons of off peak minutes, 600 day minutes for 39.95. think about it. what is the point of all those minutes if you cant make a call ? Do some research people, AT&T did this before a few years back and they stuck people with their bad service with the contacts... now they are whipping out the MLIFE CAMPAGIN, oh please, when will they get the idea, ? just like the gyms that keep selling new memberships to pepople......PLEASE you doctors and other neccessary people, get VERIZON. all you teeny boppers who are not important or needed, get the cheap ATT. and NEXTEL isnt any better with their free incoming calls, sucks up the bandwidth....... no way.... it cant be THAT bad... i was just about to get this phone with 2 years activation from At&t.. i really wanted this phone cuz i can't afford the C version.... please tell me it isnt as bad as dennykgee explains.
 
Yea i dont know what the original poster is talking about. EVERY forum I've been to showed a large number of people liking this phone along with its service.. No one has mentioned dropped calls, incoming calls going to voice mail...

aren't they one of the more expensive service providers? i know nextel is a bit pricey (more for corporate people).

lately, prices seem to be pretty close, though
 
I don't think AT&T has that much trouble with service. I currently have SprintPCS, which sucks. Crappy coverage in the Dallas area, multiple dropped calls and increasing static lately. My friends who have AT&T have much better coverage and service overall right now, and I have never heard any complaints about the v60t, I have actually been considering buying one myself. Unfortunately best price in Dallas seems to be the BestBuy deal this week for 149 after MIR. AT&T has TDMA for now, but they are switching their service to GMS in the next year or so, so there may be problems down the road. They also have shoddy wireless web services, especially with the Nokia phones. I think the 3360 uses a digital uplink for that service while AT&T uses analog for data. Sorta sucks since the 3360 is a great little phone and is free after MIR for AT&T right now.

Maybe try Voicestream, they seem to be having some pretty decent deals these days but their home coverage areas are kinda small compared to the others, but they are growing.
 
I recently switched to AT&T Wireless in Denver with the Motorola phone and the coverage is much better than Verizon (which was OK but spotty) or Sprint PCS (which was terrible), both of which I've had in the past.

I don't particularly care for the TDMA technology either (I think CDMA is better), but ultimately coverage is the name of the wireless game and AT&T is better here in Denver - at least where I use my phone.

AT&T is generally more expensive - but you get what you pay for . . .
 
excuse me.. the hot deal is that the flashy looking phone is free, at MOST DEALERS, whereas Verizon has it for expensive. but I suppose the area in which you operate is where the service matters. I am in the new york metropolitan area. the ATT and nextel here stinks, meanwhile Verizon is the best. please go search for ATT vs VERIZON on your search engines and read some forums.. I persoanally had AT&T. dont work even with 5 signal bars at most places. and my calls stink, all my friends with ATT and nextel I cant get through. my verizon people I can always get through. I LOVE VERIZON...
 
I guess you never noticed, THE PHONE IS FREE... isnt free a hot deal ? and of course I must warn you all.. ATT in NYC sucks.
 
My experience was exactly the oppisite. CDMA with verizon had dropped calls, calls directly to voicemail. Then I switched ti cingular, no problems. Then I switched to Voicestream, and its the best of all. Any deals on a v60g 😀
 
it is FREE, the hot deal is that it is FREE. Why are you complaining that you dont see the hot deal ? but free it is, sucky it is also...
