The title says it all. I don't know if it's national or not though. I'm in Omaha, NE. If you rent the XBox game you can buy it for $29.99. I'm not sure if it does or does not apply other games.

I picked up the gamecube version at Sams Club last week for under $30 - -- Me thinks it was $29.86 + Tax

I was watching my kids play, pretty neat...live action film sequences from the film intersperced (is this a word?) between animated game play!

The PS2/Xbox/GC game, not the movie version.

Is this like the DVDs where the version you get is preowned?

I would say yes....I have alreadt rented TT for PS2 a while back so I should be alright if I choose that route. Which version is better< Any reviews describing best version...I know it is an excellent game.

I picked it up at Sam's Club for $25 for the X-BOX.

I bought both LotR 2 Towers and Medal of Honor for the same price (Just Under $25). The tag said $44.95, but I had them price check it and they both came up at the lower price. The wierd thing was that they both had the same code #343786. It is in their national computer for that price. They lady at Sams said that they typically get games in lots and they all have the same number in their computer even if that lot contained different titles. I am guessing that one of the games in that lot dropped in price and because they had the same number, they all dropped in price. Who cares, I got them for half off :)

The only problem might be its availability at your local Sams, but it is definitely worth checking out!!

This is the rent, and then buy deal that they're doing for both games and movies (movies are $9.99).

However, when the game/movie is available depends on your location. You may wait for 2-3 months, and I'd had to put my name on a waiting list instead of getting it right there as I thought would happen.

My local Sams Club had it for 24.95 as well as Need for Speed 2 hot pursuit. Do not know if this is national or not.
It looks like they were heavy in inventory.
