Just called in my order, will get it delivered next wednesday.
Call staples, you want item #490203. They have it for $99.99
Now, have them pricematch it to EMSComputing.com (search for SX835), who have it for 76.49. They will do 110%, meaning you get it for $74 and change. Add some rubber bands or something, and add a $15 off $75 coupon, and youre ALL SET!

If you wish, add the $80 burner, apply $30 coupon, get it for $135-50 rebate=85 for both. Plus tax ofcourse.

BTW, credit to myself on FW. :)

technically they're not supposed to ... but 9 out of 10 times when i call to do similar things, they let you. I asked and the guy says "Sure i don't see why not" followed by a 5 second stall followed by "oh wait um after the pm it comes down to $74.86, so you need a little to bump you over" so i asked him to hang on a few min while i go see what i want...he said "sure no problem" i looked in weekly specials, and saw glue for a quarter, he said "ok..oh wait we are out of the 8 ounce we have 16oz for just over a dollar" i said hang on, and got some erasers for 50c instead. $65 after taxes. (NY 8.25%)

The Staples site either has a typo for the item model # or in the description for the Antec "SX-835". It says it has a 300W power supply, making it an SX-830. If it is, indeed, an "SX-835" it should have a 350W power supply.

I don't think Antec makes a 350W "Smart Power" power supply so I have a tendency to believe that the 300W "Smart Power" power supply listed in the Staple's description is correct- making this case an SX-830.

If this is true, let them know now- you may be able to PM to the $59.00 EMS price for the SX-830 and use $10 off $40 coupon to bring the final total to $45.00 +tax.

The 1035B on the Staples site describes the 300W (by model # even) power supply, too. This should also have a 350W PSU for it to be a 1035B.

Something's up!

According to the EMS site, Antec does make a 350W "Smart Power" power supply-it's installed on the 1035B.

will do, i get the case next wednesday (the csr said)...so i'll check then.

Also, new deal credit to some dude on FW...
Similar to above deal, only with an antec sx1035b (and actually cheaper!)
Staples has it item 490202 for $130
EMS has it for $73
add a antec 80mm cooling fan, staples item 490207, pm that to ems' $10.49 price...adding up to ~77, subtract $15 coupon and its yours for ~62+tax.

I got them to match the $74.00 price listed on emscomputing, so I added $3.00 super glue and a $0.79 mechanical pencil to bring it over $75.

Thanks for the deal!!!

welp, got mine TODAY instead of "next wednesday" according to the CSR.
Indeed, an SX835 with 350w p/s, not 300w as listed in description.

Read my post again, Xeno- this time with ALL the words.

Obviously Antec does make the SX-835 with a 350W power supply- it's the point of my post! It's also what the 35(0) in the 835 represents. Antec also makes an SX-830 with a 300W power supply- the 30(0) in the 830.

I originally posted that I didn't think that Antec made a "Smart Power" 350W power supply. I knew they made a 350W "True Power"! Since I saw that a 350W "Smart Power" is installed in the 1035B, I updated (instead of edited) my statement for the benefit of the folks on this board that enjoy reading ALL the words.

Your correction was very helpful- useless re: the PSU issue- but helpful in letting us know what case you own!

GL with it.

This deal is still on... Go to Staples B&M, add it to your cart, throw in some rubber bands, apply $20 off coupon and it's $80 shipped. Come back next day, PM with Best Buy that has it for $80 and they'll give you $22 back. Sweet deal, I'm about to jump on this opportunity myself.

Geee... so sensitive... do you always get so upset and ramble on adnauseam about such a little innocuous post? You really should chill before you hurt yourself.

Now read "ALL my words": I was not trying to correct you, so maybe this forum would be better off if you practice what you go to great lengths to preach.

I just recieved this case yesterday, and bought it online ( $99.98 +.24(box of staples--couldn't resist) minus $20.00 coupon +tax.

Q. how do I go about getting back the $22.00? online or by phone or in person at the store ?

thanks
