I did not see this posted already. CompUSA has the Antec Performance II case with 400-watt smart power ps for 79.99 after instant rebate and a mail in rebate. I currently use this case and have been extremely happy with it. Here is the break down.

$119.99
-$20.00 Instant Saving
-$20.00 Mfr. Mail-in Rebate
= $79.99

On this case do you have to have that locking door on the front or do they give you a fixed piece that can take it's place?

It's better than warm, just not blazingly hot - still a good overall price. I'm tempted to get this since I didn't manage to find any Antec cases when BestBuy had them on clearance.

this is kinda off topic, but i have this case and noticed it's more or a charcoal black than "black" black. do "typical" black faced drives match this? for example, the lite-on 52x cdrw drive on newegg, would that match this? i'm just curious for future upgrades...

No you won't find a drive that matches the case exactly, if you want a perfect match then inset the drives some and attach the blank
drive covers to the CD drive door.

I took a similar CompUSA ad and used it to pricematch at Staples...the phone section(you know...the 800 #). It was delivered fer free at an end cost of $68 and change using a coupon along with the pricematch.
I'm not sure if there's any good Staples coupons right now, but even just using the pricematch would sweeten the deal...plus ya get free delivery.

OK...I did the research and found a $15 off of $75 coupon at Staples. The code is 93512. It's only good through 4/15.

the color is more like dell black (charcoal) as opposed to ibm black (really black). I was looking for cases a few months ago to build my annual pc and I had to go with the chieftec version of this case. usb 2.0 and window on the side in ibm black, easier to buy black drives and match the color that way. I'm pretty happy with it.

the staples CSR's i've talked to either want to charge the $20 shipping charge, or take off the $20 MIR, or both :disgust: guess i'll just end up picking it up at compusa

amazon used to have it at 89.00 last month, and you can apply a 10 off 75 coupon and free shipping. Now it's 95 and no coupon.

sigh.. good old days

on my 6th CSR, she finally let me price match. didn't get to use the 15 off though because that coupon is apparently for a certain product. She did let me use a 10 off coupon, so it wasn't too shabby.
