just read a review in maximum pc (yeah free subscriptions!) that said this was pretty much junk. very inconsistant

Yes I actually bought this and returned this.

Anyway basically it picks up any 2.4ghz ISM device. And to pick up WiFi legitimally I have to get my AP start transfering like mad with like a 1gb file in order for the device to even pick it up.

So about all its good for is triangulating where a microwave is.
