Not to crap in your thread shadware, but on a note; this el wire SUCKS. I haven't seen any el wire where it can light up anything. You can't even see it with other lights in your case. I got some of this stuff at Target on clearance and I just pitched it, it's useless to me. Just to let you know.

Is there any illumination to it at all? Seeing as how I can't find a place that'll sell me a 12" and a 4" CC light (the brighter kind like at SVC), this wire would be perfect if it lights up at all.

Not really dude, it kind of looks like it's not even on when it's on. Don't count on seeing it when you have the lights in your room on.

I got some of the one from Target too, and I did like the link to the review place with the front of the Chieftec case. One thing I'm not sure of what to do yet is that I hear that the inverter creates a lot of interference and to not have it close to hard drives and such because it makes them get wacky. I am not sure where to put the inverter now

For the EL lights, I got them like a year ago and its was like $30 for 10' got the special angel hair thin ones. Not that bright, like what cashman said. But the one thing that annoy the crap out of me is the driver for the EL light. Whines so bad that I took it off completely after 2 weeks use. Tried my best to dull the noise but it was louder than my 4 deltas going. Drove me crazy. Hopefully these won't be so bad.
