This is hot. These brush attachments have been pricey, from what i've seen.

Great find yet again, Jokersmoker. Ordered 3 sets of four brushes for $2.89 each, free shipping. I usually buy these on Ebay, but the best price I'm seeing there right now is $8.09 for one 3 pack. And try pricing them in the store-even CVS's generic brand is $24 for a five pack.

I was sort of thinking the same thing. They are all pretty recent too.

If they are not shipped you have Paypal protection. Heck you might even have Paypal protection if they are counterfeits, I haven't researched it. I'll take a chance on the 8 bucks and change I have invested in this.

I have not bought from these guys but I have bought some off ebay and they were not authentic (my brother works for Oral-B). The ones we got fell apart while in use... not a good thing!

I was going to say the same thing (except for the brother part). The cheapies get real loose by the brush head and will start pinching your lips and tongue after just a few uses.
You should also be able to notice the difference in the sound of the brush when turned on.

Definite fakes! Besides the quality issues mentioned before, there's no telling what chemicals are in the bristles. Not worth the small savings for something I'll be sticking in my mouth twice a day.

I was gonna say I tried these and now I have my teeth sitting in a nice little jar by my nightstand.

But I won't.

Yeah, I bought a load of these off ebay. They are not good quality BUT I do believe they are better value than the overpriced authentic ones. 4 of these will last you longer than one Braun original.

In for two 4 packs.
LOL at the xenophobes concerned with lead poising from a toothbrush. If you're really worried don't let your children use them...

From reading these comments I bet the "Made in Germany" ones I previously bought off Ebay were probably actually Far Eastern counterfeits. Those were not that bad-out of 18 heads maybe two of them developed the wobbly tip that grabs your lip pretty quickly. The others all performed and lasted fine-and I'm almost positive the bristles were not made out of lead.

Seriously though, Braun have a license to print money with their toothbrush heads. Manufacturing cost: $0.07. Retail price: $7.00 . As for the Sonic Care... geeeezzze! Can no one make electric toothbrushes that don't include a scapling??

Just received my order. They don't look made of lead. They don't even look counterfeit - LOL.

See if you can scratch the paint on the oral b logo on it.

I just went thru a 8 pack in about 13 weeks because they were counterfiet. The brush head would get so loose it would pinch my tongue/lip and a couple of them a small pin inside the brushhead came out inside my mouth.

They looked real but I could scratch the paint on the fake ones (I used the metal shaft from electric brush) and unable to scratch the ones bought a walmart.

I get a 4-pack of genuine brushheads off of Amazon (not 3rd party sellers on Amazon, from which you can also get fakes) for under $11 shipped when on sale. That's a 1 year supply. Let's assume the counterfeiters are concerned about your health (ha! yeah right!) and make sure toxic materials weren't used in the making of the brushes and the bristles in particular. That would still only save me less than $8 over 1 year for something I'll be using twice a day, and possibly having to deal with the mechanical issues already frequently reported by others (pinching lip, metal pin falling out). Each counterfeit brush that fails prematurely only cuts into the already measly savings. Still worth it to some, but not worth it to me.

If I'm not going to use the real thing, i'd much rather use 3rd party compatibles with a company backing the product than counterfeits in which the sole goal is to maximize profit and have no responsibility for failure of and/or the harm caused by the product.

Likely fakes. The floss action ones are usually 3 for $12 at Amazon and the precision clean ones are 4 for $13. Make sure you select Amazon.com as the seller.

OK...I just got mine and I have to tell you, if they are fakes they are darn good ones...the packaging looks like the ones I buy at CVS or Walgreens. I've been using one for about a week now and they feel just like all the others I have purchased in the past.
