It's a 3com/USR 56K Voice Faxmodem Pro USB -- and it gets too hot if I use it without setting it up on its side. The bottom seems to get the hottest, and when I set the modem how it is supposed to go it heats up and I start getting dead connections every few minutes. What am I supposed to do about this? It's not a fatal problem, I can always set the modem on its side but it's kind of unstable that way.
I want to pop it open to find out what is getting too hot so I can put some kind of custom hsf on it, but I cant get the sumbich open. Suggestions?
