I walked into PC Richards today to check out that $499 Toshiba in-person (from the other thread) and lo and behold there was a Coby on sale for $100 less - and I liked the picture even better!! So $399 in-store, tax was about $25 for me (CT), shipping estimate is $59 (or free in-store pickup):

Product page: (they make kind of budget-oriented things; I've had a portable DVD player with screen for the gym from Coby for a long time with no issues, good price/performance ratio)

Amazon reviews: ($670 at Amazon!)

Tested it out and it looked great! VERY happy with the picture quality! The only complaint I read online is that the onboard speakers stink, but hey, for $400 you'll have plenty of green leftover for a speaker system  The energy sticker said $17 a year to run; I believe it was max 125 watts. This will be used as a computer monitor (not for me unfortunately, haha), so I was looking for (1) lightweight for wall-mounting, and (2) low-power (LED). Plus the huge freakin' size helps! From what I've read, this is the same price as it was on Black Friday. The price is ridiculous. I've spent more on computer monitors than this thing! I think it's about 50 pounds with the base screwed on (you'll need a Philips screwdriver, although I recommend a drillgun to get it done quick).
