I just got back from frys where I got a stick of their no-brand PC2700 DDR module that they have for sale for $59.99 and low-and-behold it a single-sided DDR module with Samsung TCB3 chips. This should be a pretty good price for this memory module(without rebates)

Where did Fry got all those nice deals?
I was thinking they just play loss leader game for a while to get customers into their doors, that's why they don't put the same special on their website. But Fry continues to put out all those nice deals, make me wondering how do they do that?

Different sales at fry's can vary quite a bit from different states and different region. I've seen quite often that the southern fry's have slightly higher sale prices then others. But this can differ all the time. The specific chip on the Memory can vary quite a lot too. Fry's uses a lot of generic memory as well so its not a guarantee to get samsung. Just a word of warning. Good thing is that fry's has a pretty liberal return policy so you can just go and return if it's not samsung.
I know this sale is at the Wilsonville, OR store as well.
