HOT!!! 25 pack Memorex DVD+R for $28.50 shipped!

If this is such a great deal then the Staples current deal of $29.99 per $25 pack must be even better. $29.99 for the pack, use the 12% ff coupon which comes to less then $27 per pack plus tax AND you don't have to wait for delivery.

But I would have to get off of my butt and waste time and gas to get them. I would rather wait a week seeing how I have in excess of 750 4x dvd+r's already. 🙂

Question Sepen, why have you heavily invested in +r's? -r's have more compatibilty while +r's can be written faster. I'll go with compatibility.

because you go with what works for you, not a 5% difference in statistics.

The ones I got from this Amazon deal were Ricoh:

Data area end sector 23053Fh

Picked up a couple of 25 packs yesterday at Office Depot while they were still on sale at 2 for $49.99 plus tax. I bought the +R discs which are RICOHJPNR01. Word has it that Memorex may be packaging some CMC +R discs now so if you are in a store and see the Memorex +R 4X discs and they have a black plastic bottom they are CMC. The RICOH have a gray bottom. I haven't personally bought any of the -R 4X discs, but they supposedly are CMC as well.

You go with compatibility, i'll go with quality. +R discs have better error detection and correction methods, and the write stategies result in a more reliable burn. Google for a comparison, there are tons out there 😉
