good deal !!!

... i almost choked when i realized i just now - ten minutes ago - paid $37.99 [after $32 MiR] from the 'Egg for 2x1GB OCZ DDR2-800
:Q
-however, i am keeping it as i want the slightly faster timings [4-4-4-15] over the Clubit's 5-5-5-12 OCZ offering to match my existing RAM and have a $12 credit at the 'egg. :p

NewEgg's deal really isn't too bad for the slightly faster timings [SLI certified] and was ~$100 more expensive 6 months ago:

as Clubit's own version of it [certified for Xfire] is $45 after MiR

Can it get any cheaper? ... will it?

i am finally feeling the need for more than 2GB of system RAM - even with a 32-bit OS

i got my 2 GB PC6400 today to add to my already 2GB System RAM for a total of 4GB in Vista 32 [3.6GB total physical memory now]
--for any *gamer* considering whether it is "worth it" to go from 2>4GB - it IS imo.

- in Hellgate: London i can now play in *maxed out* DX10 better than i could play before with [almost] maxed out DX9. That includes no-AA/maxed-AF at 16x10 in DX10!!!
-whether it is $37.99 after MiR for the Higher Performance RAM or the $24 after MiR PC6400 in the OP, it is a very cheap and cost-effective upgrade indeed.
