$21.70 - $15 rebate = $6.70 + shipping

Add something worth $4 and get FREE Shipping. Even without the rebate, this is a hot deal!

Viking InterWorks' SD cards can be used in any device that requires the robust security features that this standard offers. The SD form factor represents the smallest, secure flash memory card in the consumer market today and is flexible for applications ranging from MP3 players to PDAs to digital cameras. hopefully Viking is still using the same quality flash memory as in their 512MB Secure Digital cards

check out this review ripped from amazon.com:

"Fast Card from Viking, March 24, 2005
Reviewer: Dr Harry Oak from Somerset
The Viking SD card [512MB] is actually made in Japan by Toshiba and badged by this American company. The card is a 46X Read and a 13X write and thus faster than many other 'standard' cards out there. It reads at 7MB/s and writes at 2MB/s. It can give 533 minutes on a 128bps silicon audio player or 625 shots on a standard digital camera. Its quality is what you'd expect from industry leader Toshiba and the back up is typical of an American user-friendly company. One to invest in - especially at this price! "

seems like a great deal.. I'll have to post some benchmarks when I get it

Great find.

There is a $3.95 "processing fee" even with free shipping, and there is sales tax in CA. Total for the mouse/SD card combo is $43.79 before the $30 rebates.

LOL, after I ordered the mouse, it said there were only 3 more at the special price. It looks like the reset the clock counter with 71 hours when it went down to zero, and added another 30 to the quantity.

Use Sandra 2005. It has different benchmarking tools including multimedia cards (assuming you have a reader hooked up to your PC).

I jumped on it last night and got it for the $21. I got the order confirmation and I just hope they don't cancel my order.

Now it's up to $77. What are they doing, raising the price to make up what the lost when they sold it to the first buyers at $27???
