obviously some deals are going to be hotter than others, but i'll go ahead and list a few that i think a decent deals...

1) CORSAIR Professional Series HX650 - this is a hot seller for Corsair. its a semi-modular re-branded SeaSonic X650 PSU (most of its cables are modular, while the 20/24-pin main motherboard connector and 4/8-pin CPU connector are integrated into the PSU):

regular price: $109.99 shipped
after 15% off w/ CorsairPSUJan12 promo code (expires 1/8/12): $93.49 shipped
after $20 MIR: $73.49 shipped

2) CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX650M - this is a good deal b/c its the modular version of the Corsair TX650 V2 and usually goes for quite a bit more than its non-modular counterpart:

regular price: $89.99 shipped
after 15% off w/ CorsairPSUJan12 promo code (expires 1/8/12): $76.49 shipped
after $15 MIR: $61.49 shipped

3) CORSAIR Professional Series Gold AX650 - this is essentially a re-branded SeaSonic X650, though it usually sells for a sizable premium over the SeaSonic unit (probably due to its 5-yr warranty vs the X650's 3-yr warranty, among other reasons)...however w/ the promo code and rebate, the price of this PSU gets down near some of the lowest sale prices i've seen on the SeaSonic unit:

regular price: $149.99 shipped
after 15% off w/ CorsairPSUJan12 promo code (expires 1/8/12): $127.49 shipped
after $20 MIR: $107.49 shipped

...the above examples are just a few of many Corsair PSU's for which this 15% off promo can be used. for a full listing of applicable PSU's, see HERE.

All nice deals, but note that the HX650 is not a rebranded Seasonic x650. I think you may have gotten your descriptions mixed up. The HX650 is Seasonic-based, but it's definitely not based on the x650. Most obviously, it's not Gold-certified. But it actually is modular (you say it's a non-modular x650).

All that being said, that's a nice deal for a mid-level modular 650w unit.

The AX650 is the most obvious hot deal - that's a stellar PSU, and really is a rebranded x650.

The TX650 would also be good for those shopping in the $50-60 range - a nice entry-level 650w, and perhaps the cheapest I've ever seen a name-brand modular unit going for.

I wonder what the difference between the HX650 and TX650M is. Specs wise, it's kind of a strange comparison - the TX has 54a on the 12v, while the HX has 52a, and yet the HX is the one with 4 PCIe power connectors, while the TX has a disappointing 2 connectors - not good for crossfire/SLI, which it should be able to handle, at least at the mid-range level (6870/560).

hmm...i actually thought that the HX650 and the AX650 were both based on the SeaSonic X650 design, just with different tweaks by Corsair (hence the differences in efficiency and modularity...w/ respect to the HX650 anyways). at any rate, regardless of whether its based on the X650 or not, its definitely a re-branded SeaSonic of some sort.

also, i should have referred to the HX650 as semi-modular instead of non-modular. while most of its cables are not integrated into the PSU itself, the 20/24-pin main motherboard connector and the 4/8-pin CPU connector cannot be separated from the PSU. my apologies for not specifying that much the first time around...i've edited my first post accordingly.

I haven't seen anything specifically saying the HX650 isn't an x650, but if it were a tweaked x650, the tweaks would have to be pretty major to bring it down from Gold to Bronze and from the much higher price-range that the x650 and AX650 inhabit. Either way, I'd say it's certainly not equivalent to an x650, but at the price, it doesn't need to be.

All hot deals. Thanks for pricing them out for folks here.

AX650 is most definitely my dream PSU, too bad, bought too many Earthwatts already.

also tx OP for going the extra in writing out descriptions and pricing, good job!

I believe the HX650 is the updated Seasonic S12-II with 80Plus Bronze, just like the older HX620 was the older S12-II with mere vanilla 80Plus.

Can't seem to find any decent professional reviews specifically of the TX650M. This review of the TX750M indicates that all TX-M units (modular) are made by Channel Well Technology (CWT) while TX-V2 units (non-modular) are Seasonic. Remember, the original TX units (non-modular only) were a mix of Seasonic and CWT.

Thanks for the great find, and very timely for me. I can get a good deal on a gtx 480 from a friend and my PSU can't handle the power draw between that and my current card (gtx 470). Very tempting.

interesting find...so i guess Corsair added an extra 30W of output in addition to bumping efficiency up to the 80 Plus Bronze level, b/c SeaSonic's top S12II model is still only a 620W unit.

That's a good deal on the Corsair HX650. I've used a few HX520 & HX620 units over the years and they are all great units so I would expect the same from the HX650. Thanks for the info. I may buy one to try out.

thx op, grabbed the cx600. needed one cheap for my older pc that had its psu crap out. 39 dollars should get her back up.

thanks for the heads up, picked up an HX650... for what reason; I don't know, but it's always nice to have a spare PSU around

Anybody have any bad experiences with a wining type noise with these? I'm leaning towards the HX series.
