Using one of these right now.

It seems kind of cheesy. I've noticed 6 bad pixels. It also is grey front/navy blue back. Says "natcomp" on the front. Blue buttons also

1 thing I like is that it has a separate power supply (12V). Which is great since I'm going to be using this for an automotive application, with a more convienient DC/DC supply. It says it uses 2.1A @ 12V...talk about low power!! That's less than the CF Bulb that lights my room!!

How does the 14 inch size compared to the more traditional 15 inch? I don't mind my 15 inch lcd because my 17 that it replaced was of course 15 inch viewable. Why did they make such a funky size for?

I recently bought a 15" NEC BLACK LCD at $298 from Dell.com (shipped without rebate). When you can buy a quality brandname monitor at below $300, buying this monitor with questionable quality does not seem to be a good choice. Just my opinion.

14in compared to 15in

Well, it's obviously a little smaller...what more did you want to hear?? :) Other than that, it's not as large either
