Hot! 12M HD video camera 35.43 freeship

12megapixel sensor my ass. Side of the box says interpolation. That's just a video version of those cheap chinese knockoff digital cameras you can buy at walmart for a few bucks. I wouldn't waste 3.54 on it, let alone 35.43. Sorry to threadcrap but I hate seeing people waste their money. I mean, look at the front of the camera. There's not even a lens! Just a hole in some plastic.

First Interpol on the 31 M STILLS, has a 12M CMOS. For my fellow posters I took the plunge
and when I receive it I will give you a fair appraisal. After looking at the selection at Amazon if it does even a little of what it says it will be a deal.I will post in a couple of weeks,Thanks.

Really considering this for my 9yr old to play with, let us know what you think.

Doesn't say anything about framerate / recording resolutions in the web specs but if you zoom in on the box pic it looks like it records max @ 640x480@30fps. Might not be bad @ that price point. Probably comparable to some cellphone cam's.

Oh my god! HE CAN TALK!!! 😉

Just because it's joker you can't expect a GL2 for $35. It probably does as much good as a point and shoot or cell phone on video mode which for may people is worth $35. I'm not even sure why it's even in the shape of a video camera. The optics are probably tiny and I doubt it even autofocuses. Still... it's $35 free shipping. It probably makes for a good toy, adult or child.

I doubt it's even 640x480 resolution.... all I needed to see was the composite video cable )with mono audio to boot!) included to know it won't record HD.

I will post my review when I get it. Thanks again.

FYI, they aren't the same items. Both say Cyber-Cam but they are physically different models, could be the same 'guts' I dunno. Just saying. 🙂

I would suggest something that is more like a normal point-and-shoot camera without a flip-out LCD, because that LCD is just begging to be broken off by a 9 year old.

OK Dokey Smokey, first Hi Zap,long time no see! I was going to write a critique on this
camera but that is no longer necessary. The bottom line is its a price mistake that NO ONE
caught including the site. The above link shows you the lower model DC014S at 94.00!!
So the DC015S is 35.00?? The unit has shipped and I am only going to share this with my friends at AT. No Where Else! Finally it may not squirt water, but it can shoot it! Nyuk,Nyuk!
Always a pleasure!

For some reason I like this guy.

This camera is good toy for a 9yr old, but if you're looking for any "real" camera, look for optical zoom instead of digital. My photography teacher used to say the first thing to look at in a camera is how much zoom it's got.

It clearly has some sort of lens, since it's listing an F-Stop and a focus distance, but it weighs 400 grams. i.e about the weight of a box of paperclips. I'm not sure it's even worth the 40 bucks.
