Hmm.. They also have an archos 20gb player for a couple bucks less. But I think they are a fraud as they don't take credit cards.

Hmmmm,

WE NO LONGER ACCEPT CREDIT CARD ORDERS DUE TO RAMPANT FRAUD. Only Checks/Money Orders/Wire Transfers will be accepted.

Yeah sure........

Welcome to Tampa Exchange USA, Inc! We purchase bankrupt and surplus stock from companies around the country at discount prices and pass the savings onto YOU!. We specialise in electronics, computing, and video recording items.

I don't think companies would sell their "surplus stock" to them, and then they would be able to sell such things as a 1 GHZ Powermac with 22 inch apple flat screen for 2000 dollars. Playstation 2 for 125 dollars??? yeah sure. Also there are like 20 items in 7 categories.

I have a "resource" in Bradenton, FL. I think I'll send them over with cash to buy 3 X-Box consoles and game packs for $387. If the Ipod is a good price, I'll get one of those also. I'll report back my findings.

I got this email too...if it's legit, I'll be there placing an order or two but somehow I really doubt it...

Looking forward to your follow-up, sewerrat!

FYI, most large retailers buy their consoles AT-COST, meaning they make little or no money on selling the console hardware by itself.

There is NO way this place is getting such a large discount on the X-Box when Microsoft is already losing money on every single X-Box sold...

I just don't understand why a place that is trying to commit fraud makes it so blatant. Look at the prices, they are all half of the best price that you could get anywhere else. If I were trying to commit fraud I would set prices just low enough so that they attracted attention, but not low enough to alert anyone.

The only way that this site is legit is if it is run my some rich guy that felt like being nice by giving away money.

Also see:

and

This is definetely a scam of some sort, IMHO, but it's unclear if they just take your money and run, or they steal things and then resell it here for almost nothing, or possibly both in some cases. So even if they do sell something to you, and you get it, it might be stolen property. These idiots really make themselves stand out with the stupid low prices.

Can I pick up an order in person?

Of course! We are more than happy to arrange a date and time that is convenient. Please be aware that if paying on-the-day you will be required to pay cash only (no checks, money orders, credit cards, etc) because we will be unable to verify these instruments with our bank and clear then in our account on-the-spot. Please don't just turn up without making a prior arrangement with us to do so as there may be nobody around to meet you and you will not have any items reserved for you!

For those going, let us know...

$220 as well. That's easy money for anyone willing to check this guy out.

(probably scam, but I can dream)
