Phew, thanks for that link, good to know it's availible if need be. Yes, this does allow me to login (although the logins on their main site do not... weird)

I have edited above post to account for this difference

Just so you guys know, if you keep this domain after the first year it'll be £16.50 (~$19.32US) per year compared to so it won't be cheap to renew if you're used to the $8.88 US per year rates at www.namecheap.com for com/org/net domains.

And there's the catch!

They never ask for your CC info, so it's not like they can automatically charge you.

This service seems great to me.

Try using the link provided by Zoomer above, it is almost instant. You might still get your old name if the other guys havent put it through yet.

I tried two domains with them and they are listed and I can manage them in the very simple dns.be I fowarded one and changed the dns for the other but they still aren't live.

Right, however if you plan on keeping a domain you register for more than a year with these guys I would reccomend picking some other site in the first place to register with.

Remember, they're in this to make a profit! Nothing wrong with that, but make sure you know the charges if you plan to keep it

I signed up on the 23rd and it's now the 28th and my domains still don't get resolved. I used the free.be one to sign up two addresses and neither are active. They are listed but next to them it has "unchecked". I fowarded one address and changing one DNS to the ones that the host says to use.

It said 24 to 48 hours to propagate, maybe .be registration is slow cause all the people signing up.

I used the address to sign up provided by zoomer and set my DNS at signup. My domain was up and running and resolved in about 15 mins.

I also signed up for one through the original link, didn't set DNS at signup, and it still doesnt resolve either ...probably cause I havent been able to get into the free.be DNS management screen. So I guess it depends with registrar you went with.

I used zoomers link and signup for two address and then set the DNS, they still aren't resolving at all. Maybe my host sucks as well.
