BUMP!

Has anybody dealt with this company before (I'm about to click purchase, but have no idea if this is legitimate or not)? I understand that I'm accepting spam by subscribing through these guys, but I could care less with all the spam I already get. I just want to be sure they don't jack my money and run (a la the incredible hosting offer last year)

Peace

It looks from bizrate that they have been around at least since september..... Reviews are a bit mixed, but most of that seems to be with delayed subscriptions.....

Bizrate

THey take paypal ...is that a good or bad thing?

This magazine is eligible for a sponsor's contribution. Members receive occasional promotional emails*, not to exceed 1 email a week, from Magazine Values, their marketing partners and sister divisions. The revenue paid by these advertisers along with advertising revenue generated by the advertising on the website is used to offset the price of this subscription. The amount of the contribution is determined by a statistical analysis of the demographics of this magazine. The member's payment plus the sponsor's contribution pays the total price of this subscription.

*We do not rent or sell members names, address, email address, or personal information to any unrelated third party without their permission.

I ordered maximum pc from this company about half a year ago, had no problems, it took about 2 months to start up. I think I paid around $3.97 for my one year subscription, the price seems to hover somewhere around $5 from them.

The PayPal thing is good, I suppose. If they were to jack you, it'd be a one-time thing as opposed to a credit card on file which could be accessed numerous times :D (always finding the good in life)

Thanks for the reply k900, I think I'm going to order two years, I don't expect it to come immediately, but I have been ripped off before by these 'cheap magazine' schemes in the past.

Peace

I've given several gift subscriptions through this company. No problems at all.

I think I have some subscriptions from them, usually will have to wait for at least 3 months. Other than that, it is great.

Jeez! How come this deal ends on the 13th?! I can't seem to find a reason as to why that is...
Lot's of nice mags there on sale. Saw one called Razor here and was just wondering if anybody knew how it compated to FHM? Seems kinda like for the guy who does stuff like bungee and skydives everyday aka the adrenaline junkies.

Don't know the quality, but I remember getting it free from another site. Didn't get an issue yet.
