On November 18, 2006, HostPC officially celebrates the start of our 8th year providing you quality web hosting services. Shortly after that date, in the United States, we celebrate Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is a holiday in the USA when people give thanks for our friends and family. HostPC is thankful to our customers for their support and continued confidence as we enter another year of providing quality, dependable service at an affordabe price.
During this EIGHT day sale, all package quotas will be DOUBLED. All packages including Budget, Twister, Blizzard, Hurricane and Reseller Earthquake will be DOUBLED on top of our already insane offerings. This sale is valid for EIGHT days only: November 18-28, 2006.
Budget, Twister, Blizzard, Hurricane and Reseller Earthquake - all receive 2X the quotas listed on our website, automatically - no coupon codes necessary, no special conditions. You'll keep these same quotas for as long as your account remains in good standing - month after month, year after year.
HostPC will NOT oversell our server capacity. Our servers will be setup with no more than 22 clients per server (with the exception of Budget packages), depending on the plans setup on each server - no exceptions.
Please read ALL the information below. All the details we anticipate being asked about are addressed below.
We have a few simple rules:
- phpBB is still "outlawed" at HostPC and has been since June 2005. If we find it, we disable it, no questions asked, no warnings. Know that when you sign up.
- AWSTATS may not be installed on a user account. It's installed server wide for the protection of the server. If you install it to a domain, it WILL be deleted when found.
- We do not allow ANY illegal content - explained fully in our TOS/AUP.
- Applies to upgrades and new accounts only (a new account is defined as a hosting account on a domain we haven't hosted in at least 90 days or an individual we haven't had as a reseller for at least 90 days)
Customers wishing to upgrade: To upgrade, order a new account, as a NEW customer. On your orderform, in the comments section, tell us your current username, and current billing method (paypal or credit card). Most upgrades require a move of servers to abide by our fewer accounts per server policy. Your account will be setup, YOU will be responsible for moving your data.
- Applies to both regular hosting and reseller accounts.
- Cancelling your account and signing up during the sale will not yield 2 for 1 on the same domain name.
- New accounts paid via eCheck Payment (through Paypal) will be setup after the eCheck clears (4-6 business days). Paypal and credit card orders may take 6-8 hours to process.
- The plan will stay with you as long as you remain a customer in good standing with HostPC.com.
- Our 30 day money back guarantee is not price protection, it is to be used if you are dissatisfied with our service - not to cancel and sign up during the sale. Existing customers are allowed to upgrade during this sale.
- Not valid with any other offer.
- The spirit of the 2 for 1 sale is to attract new business and promote upgrading - please stay within the spirit of the offer.
- Some upgrades may be required to move to an alternate server to preserve our predefined quota on each server.
Please note:
New orders and upgrades may take up to 6-8 hours to process during busy times (to verify information, validate credit cards, etc). Paypal orders will be setup much faster than credit card orders as we manually verify each credit card order.
If you're using a credit card, be prepared to receive a phone call to verify your order. We speak only with the card holder. We use strict fraud checks to insure your safety. Calls are made at random, and will be completed before 9pm ET.
If you're ordering from outside the U.S., we suggest you use Paypal as your payment method. Due to our fraud checks, foreign orders are likely to fail unless the address is entered exactly as it appears on your bill.
Please do not use Yahoo! email addresses during the sign up. Please use your ISP's assigned email address, or another address NOT associated with the domain you're signing up. Yahoo! tends to delete our server generated welcome emails. Gmail, while a good alternative, tends to put our server generated welcome messages into "Spam" folders. Please be sure to check there, and whitelist *.hostpc.com in your spam filters.
Your "Welcome Email" will be sent to the address you provide. If you do NOT receive this in 6-8 hours, please check your spam folders or contact us via the helpdesk (
http://helpdesk.hostpc.com) to get a copy of it. If you open a helpdesk ticket, include your payment receipt for fastest processing.
