Hosting overseas

GOing to be getting a new hosting co. and have heard/read good things about clook.net, and curious if its a big deal to be hosting overseas, or if it really doesn't matter.
Thanks

it doesn't have to be overseas Ijust that clook is overseas, and I was wondering if I should consider something else besides clook.net their in the UK.

First of all excellent choice, I think clook.net is one of the best web hosts.

Their headquarters (and owner Jim) are based in the UK.

However you can choose from US or UK based servers, the US servers are cheaper than the UK servers.

You can see their server specs, read customer testimonials, uptime % and ask pre-sales questions here.

Ouch that sucks I would also check out Rochen.com (UK) and HTTPme.COM (Australia) both have servers and support techs located in the USA.
