Hosting Azureus Torrent: Losing Network Connections!

I've been having a strange problem ever since I started hosting a torrent with Azureus for the first time (with the embedded tracker). The torrent was created OK and people were able to connect to it, but every few hours I lose all network connectivity and have to disable and re-enable my network connection in the Control Panel. After I do this the torrent uploads resume normally, until the next time the problem happens.

At first I thought it was an ISP problem (Road Runner) but I don't just lose my internet connection, but all network connections (mapped drives, etc). And I've noticed that when this happens, and I restore my connection, my local IP switches between .169 and .170.

Any ideas what might be causing this?
