truth! we got some for our kids lunches. i tried one and the whole inside of my mouth felt like i just ate a big glob of crisco lard. I had to drink hot tea to rise my mouth of it.

He said back when he was a kid (so late 50s, early 60s) the cream was the consistency of real whipped cream. Now you can taste and feel in the texture all the preservatives they add to it.

yep

i'll buy sweets once in a while but only freshly baked from real ingredients. all these boxed up cupcakes with nothing but chemicals taste like crap and aren't worth it
 
I heard that Tastycake is in financial trouble as well. What is with America... can't we even make profitable junk food anymore???

I'd say it is alive and gaining traction. Have you seen how big the average American is these days? Or the list of top candidates for the republican presidential race? Fat and dumb is the new America!

Which movie was that with Eddie Murphy that 2 rich guys make him into a stock broker, then they have a falling out and the rich guys lose all their money on orange futures.
