Hostel 2

I personally was a fan of the first. I've seen it probably 3 or 4 times. It was a movie that was all about shock value and just being gory, had a decent story line, and had a lot of euro boobies so there wasn't much to complain about. The death scenes in it were pretty nice and over the top, so much that I laughed at Hostel more than anything. All in all I enjoyed watching it for what it was.

However part 2 is just bad. It's downright an awful movie. It doesn't even come close to having the same type of death scenes, and when we see the death scenes, they are just not even close to being as impressive as the first one.

On the previews they talk about some type of ending that is like nothing ever seen in America or something like that. Well I won't spoil it, but it's just one of those things you put your head down and shake it after you see it.

All in all, evein if you were a fan of the first Hostel, part 2 will disappoint you greatly.

nudity on chicks that aren't hot, not nearly as much violence as the first one, and no vehicle chase.

I can't believe they skimped on the violence and hotness. The first movie was great. I was expecting this one to be even more over the top.

I thought Hostel 2 was by far better than the first one. Sure, if you wanted a pure gore-fest, Hostel 2 does not deliver, but I liked the fact that the movie explained more about what was going on in this "factory."

The ending wasn't really surprising, although it made me cringe... if you see it, you'll know why .

I don't understand how it explained "more" what was going on in the factory.

It explained a little bit more about the club I guess but I thought it was so ridiculously cheesy/stupid that it ruined it big time.


And you are crazy in general if you say it's "far" better, let alone better at all ... (yes to each their own)

I'm trying to be abstract as to not ruin the movie for the people that aren't pirates and didn't download the leaked workprint DVD.

I didn't find it cheesy... I found it more on the creepy side. The reasoning for the two men was pretty creepy too.

The first one was just porn and blood... the second one at least had more of a plot :roll:.

(After theyre wondering where that one missing girl was after she went with that guy)

I couldnt believe my ears even if its clear its an R rated movie

The first movie sucked and so did the violence. Every "gory" scen they panned the camera away from the action.

Also, the radio ads for Hostel 2 are ultra annoying.

Yah this and The Hills Have Eyes 2 were 2 horror movies that I regret seeing in the theatre :|
