host monster

I'm looking for a host for a new website and I'm wondering what OT thinks about host monster

I need them to host some larger PHP/mysql apps: joomla, phpBB, magento, moodle, etc. Most of these require a higher PHP mem limit to run. I had problems in the past with my host not wanting to change the limit or charge me out the ass for it.

Recommendations?

I'd be weary, they'll probably be sued out of existence by Monster Cables soon

I'm fairly happy with Dreamhost at the moment after a couple of years of below-average service. They seem to have picked up their game, although their servers can still be a mite slow. Their cheaper packages won't offer you the memory you're after but they have soon pretty good plans.
