Horseback riding in the Bay Area, CA?

Anybody have any recommendations for a first timer? I'm looking for a place that offers a one day type school/lesson.

There's a place up in the Oaklnd hills near lake Chabot that I know of.

Go to Half Moon Bay. A place called the 'sea horse rance'

they offer lessons, etc... The place is right by the beach so you can ride on the sand!

a friend of mine recommended this place.. haven't checked it out though

I see horses on the trails by Coyote Hills in Union City, there's probably a place somewhere on there that has horses.
