My son and I went to our Martial Arts class last night. It's a Mixed Martial Arts that is based on 8 different styles. This is only our third class because we started the week before Thanksgiving and missed last week due to my son being sick. I already get pretty sore because it has been a long long long time since I've stretched my body around like we do in class. But last night we worked on pressure points and the Soke decided to use me to demonstrate the Horse Bite Grip on.
Holy Hell my body hurts now.
He demoed the grip on my triceps and my sides. You basically grab a fist full of skin and muscle, roll your fingers into a fist, and twist like you're turning your car keys. After the Soke doing that and then my partner doing the same, most of my upper body just hurts to move. And this is on top of the normal soreness that I feel the next day when I wake up.
I'm going to be popping freaking Aleve and Tylenol all day now...
