With 5.8 seconds left in Sunday night's Game 5, San Antonio's Robert Horry hit a three-pointer that proved to be the game-winner.

This photo was taken moments after Horry's shot. His right hand is signaling that his shot went in. His left hand appears to be signaling something entirely different.

The Pistons fans behind Horry were obviously distraught that he made the shot. The Free Press hasn't heard any buzz about Horry's below-the-waist gesture.

What do you think? Did Horry just have an itch? Was it a message to the Pistons? Or was it a show of disrespect to the Palace crowd?

ROFL ... when he elevated on that shot he popped his jock, and was readjusting while everyone else was looking at the ball.

Horry is one of the few class acts left in the NBA today, why Dr. Buss let a player of his character and caliber leave the lakers two seasons ago is beyong me. I can't comment on whether or not it was an itch but i do know for a fact that he deserved to do whatever he wanted after what he did last night.

I'm getting closer to liking Horry (saved my gambling ass for this series), although his 3pt shot against the Kings after Vlade tried to tip the ball away cost me a lot more money.

Yes, this class act threw a towel in his rookie coach's face, cussed continuously at him, and publicly humiliated him during a basketball game. Real class. It was one of the most disgraceful things I've seen in professional sports (and that says something).

Those of you who think it was simply an itch might want to keep in mind that Horry was also responsible for shoving a cameraman. He has shown flashes of extreme immaturity throught his career.
