Horrible lag in games

I recently built this rig earlier this year and for the past 2 weeks I've been randomly having unplayable lag issues mainly when I'm playing games such as starcraft 2, diablo 3, dota 2, etc...

I updated my gfx to the latest nvidia patch and I also updated my crucial m4 ssd to the latest firmware. My GTX 570 is at 40-45c idle and 60-65c when in game. I checked my usage and everything seems to be normal but I just can't figure out whats lagging me so bad.

My Spec:

Gigabyte GTX 570
i5-2500k
Gigabyte GA-Z68XP-UD3 LGA 1155 Intel Z68
Crucial M4 128gb SSD
GSKILL 8 GB DDR1333
Noctua NH-D14
Corsair TX650

Is it frame rate, consistency of frame rate or latency? That is the first question to answer because the feeling of poor performance can be a number of different possibilities.

Use fraps, tell it to record frame times and graph at the data like techreport does. Ideally you want sub 16.6ms renders for 60 fps (1000ms to a second /60 frames per second = 16.6ms). Graph out the consistency of frame times and that will at least tell you if FPS or consistency of frames is what is causing the feeling of lag.

If that all looks healthy then we can claim is latency and go from there, but the type of performance problem needs to be accurately determined.

It most likely is Frame Rate, my isp is pretty consistent 30 mb dl / 5 mb up. I still have yet to try fraps, but I turned on the in game frame rate and it just says "0 FPS." If I restart my computer its fine for an hour or 2 and then it happens again.

This makes me think heat first. Is your 2500K overclocked?

Otherwise, see if you can spot something in Task Manager. And maybe run a virus/malware scan.

My computer is not overclocked and I have a Noctua NH-D14, my temp levels seem to be fine. I was thinking about the malware/virus do you recommend any good free programs to check and fix if needed?

I'd just remove them with MWB, the fact that it even comes up (even if it was a false positive) means that the coding in it is written in a way where it seems suspicious, or is sending data constantly for some reason.

I scanned with Microsoft Security Essentials but it found nothing so I downloaded a free trial of Malwarebytes and these are my results. Are these false positives? or should I go and remove these?

Those are all just registry keys, so they shouldn't be dangerous unless there is another hidden piece of software that MalwareBytes couldn't find. I'd still remove them anyway though.
