What temperatures are you showing with the X1800XL? And does the problem also happen when neither the CPU or GPU are overclocked?

Your rig kicks more ass than a truck full of asses and nikes speeding over a bumpy road, but people are calling you out on claiming it's 'top notch.' It's lower end enthusiast, for sure. But far from top notch. That'd be X1900XT in crossfire, or 7800GTX 512 in SLI, FX60 with 4 gigs. =)

actually 4 gigs would be quite a bit slower than 2 gigs.

Turn down dynamic shadows and lighting to medium. This should help out a lot.
