Hornets have made a nest in the cable junction box on the side of my house

They seem to have made a decent size nest in there as when I was out mowing the lawn today I saw a good 10-15 hornets in and around the bottom of the box. Looks like the climbed up a hole in the bottom and set up a nice nest.

I assume since the box is locked and is the cable co's property, its their responsibility to handle this, right?

Just spray some Raid up inside it. And then light your house on fire to be sure.

Alert the cable company of what you are going to do.

Heavy duty Raid attack at night - the attack will kill the colony. The Heavy Duty soaking will then kill the larve as well.

If the cable shorts out (bad connections) - then have the cable company on speed dial so they can be out in the AM. Have a couple of movies stocked up for the evening.

Not likely. The lines are trapped/untrapped at pole. More likely that they have built a tiny TV in the junction box and somehow got a cable box in there. They are in there right now watching VOD bee porn.
