horizontal "rolling bars" on video

Ok, well I have a tv tuner card moved down prety far in the pci slots from the video source, but dc electrical interference is still being leaked some how into my video stream on any monitor. How would I shield the outside cable from causing problems with my monitor near th eback of the computer? Could I cover it in something?

Make a lead casing that you can run the wiring through.... *I'M KIDDING DON'T DO ANYTHING WITH LEAD*

I think your best solution would be an in-line noise filter. I'd have to assume that they sell one at Radioshack or Fry's.

You might also try a different cable.

Should I try a DC blocker too to prevent electro noise from getting in?
